This is the first music record to be written in official collaboration with an army.

Encounters with three young soldiers who have been deployed in Afghanistan is the material the music is written from. By being the integral part of the writing process, the soldiers are regarded as active bandmembers.

The politically-charged and experimental pop uses songs to explore whether it is possible for a civilian to understand the experiences of a soldier with the aim of establishing a fresh take on contemporary protest music.

By entering and engaging with the army facilities and it's personel, the critical reflections on the militant institution is formed from within itself.
